Jeffrey James Arts Consulting specializes in recording projects, promotion, public relations, music publishing, referrals, special projects and most everything else (except bookings) that people in the arts need. When necessary, Jeffrey can also offer guidance as to how it can best be accomplished if it doesn’t fall within his range of services offered.
Arts-in-Education programs are also available, with several offered in English & Spanish. Many of the composers, ensembles and other artists that work with Jeffrey are available for residencies, workshops, seminars, and more.
Jeffrey places special emphasis on composers, as he feels they are underserved in the classical music world, and is glad to be able to bring their projects the care they deserve.
In regards to commissions of new works from a composer, many factors are taken into consideration (among them instrumentation, length of the piece, and copying costs). (Please note that such commissions will need to be discussed person-to-person.)
Jeffrey is also the President of 4Tay Records, a new label that is open to many different kinds of classical, jazz and alternative (i.e. electronic, world music, etc.) recording projects. Moreover, he has strong affiliations with several other independent labels that are similarly inclined.
