Women's Work brings recognition to the achievements of women composers and performers of all periods and nationalities by producing concerts of women's music and by teaching the public about their accomplishments.
To fulfill its mission, Women's Work produces a concert series each March and documents the performances, including biographies, program notes, photographs, and recordings of the concerts, on the internet on its MySpace page. The composers are presented to the audiences speaking live before their performances as well as in podcasts on the internet. Women's Work publishes a quarterly newsletter on women composers and performers and supports a network of musicologists and their students who are doing research in this area.
