To Whom It May Concern
Music and Spoken Word By Jerry Rizzi
A Canticum Novum Christmas
The Cantincum Novum Singers
This collection of original contemporary classical compositions is performed by its composer, renowned vibraphonist Eldad Tarmu, with a woodwind quintet.

After an extensive series of jazz and world music releases, Stained Glass Stories is Eldad Tarmuís second chamber music CD. The first one, Songs for the Queen of Bohemia, released in 2008, proposed an innovative chamber jazz sound with ethnic stylings for a string quartet, vibraphone, bass and drums. Stained Glass Stories is more anchored in the chamber music traditions, while continuing to draw on Tarmuís background as a jazz musician and on his originally eclectic approach to composition.

This special collection of music and spoken word compositions by Jerry Rizzi features the composer performing as bassist and cellist, and reading his poetry, assisted by a superb array of guest artists, including Pete Thompson, drummer on Robert Plantís solo recordings, Rod Rook Davies, guitarist for an early David Bowie band, and internationally renowned clarinetists Stanley and Naomi Drucker. Stanley was a member of the New York Philharmonic for 60 years.

This special collection of choral Christmas music is performed by renowned Canticum Novum Singers, Harold Rosenbaum, conductor, with accompanist Robert Fertitta on organ and piano.

Called “an elite chorus” by the New York Times, The Canticum Novum Singers is now in its 44th season.
C4 exists to enrich artists and audiences alike, through passionate advocacy of new choral works; performing pieces written within the last 25 years; premiering and commissioning new choral works; and mentoring emerging singers, composers and conductors of today's choral music. "This Requiem was written as a response to the events of September 11, 2001. Finding Walt Whitman’s poetry was a powerful reminder that the tragedies of war and destruction can return; that the human impulse to reach out and help in times of sorrow is universal, and that the great Force that gives life persists and sustains us continually."
